The Layla Emerald Orchestra (LEO) is a debut product featuring a 8-20 piece world-class dance and party band under the prestigious Divina Artisti label.
The Layla Emerald Orchestra is a fresh and hot new band comprised of talented experienced artists throughout the tri-state NYC area. Led by Layla Davias who has appeared on many popular talented competitions such as ‘Star Search’ as a finalist and ‘American Idol’ making it to LA! her voice is strong and will get you out of your seats all night long singing the hottest songs from legends including Donna Summer and Chaka Khan and has the emotion to bring you and guests to tears singing the songs of Celine Dion and Whitney Houston. She has sung in front of the top artists of our time including Ariana Grande eliciting a “YOU GO GIRL!” Layla has sung for Leann Rhymes, Katy’s Perry’s Grammy Party, and has sung with ‘The Boss’ himself Bruce Springsteen. Layla has been part of the vibrant NYC music scene for over 25 years. Partnering with her husband Chris who is not only a talented drummer but as a successful audio engineer and entrepreneur he desired nothing more than to ensure that your experience will not only be with the best talent but look and sound the best transforming your space into Madison Square Garden or a club in Ibiza. Chris has performed with members of Alien Ant Farm, Puddle Of Mudd and Cobra Starship.
Layla Co-singer, Jaquita May is a vocal powerhouse on stage! JaQuita’s versatility as an entertainer and artist is vast. Her vibrant energy and unforgettable stage presence is matched only by her stunning vocal technique. She has been compared to Whitney Houston, Martha Walsh, and the Queen of Rock & Roll, Tine Turner. She has also appeared in the Netflix holiday movie, “The Christmas Chronicles.”

The band is available for East Coast performances national destination events and international appearances. . Based out of NYC the band is experienced with local and travel events. Full backline and A/V production is available with this ensemble at an additional cost.
